Things around here are super busy with last minute holiday orders {we are shipping right through the holidays} but I wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas and leave you with some holiday kisses {a smattering of my favorite colors of the past year}. This is probably going to be my last post on Trust Your Style until after Christmas, but I will be posting over on Magical Mined, so make sure to stop by!

Speaking of magical, the sunsets have been extra beautiful lately. I took this photo hiking above Boat Canyon in Laguna this past weekend, and as you can see Laguna Shimmer and our Magical Mined Nail Color trio names are not just a figment of my imagination. Erika over at Cat Eyes and Skinny Jeans wrote the best description of the nuances of our shimmering nail colors that I have read to date!

Before I sign off, I also want to thank the many bloggers who included our handbags, polish and jewels in their roundups! Such a treat to be included in these lovely holiday wish lists! I feel like Christmas came early this year!

xoxo:

exPresso included our Thalia Shopper in her delectable Weekly Gems and the Salt Creek Mini-Wallet in her Christmas Gift Guide; Fashioned by Love included our Diamond Drop Star earrings in her chic black Christmas roundup; Design Addict Mom matched our bags to all sorts of lovely rooms; Madison at Fashion Tales scooped up our Salt Creek Mini-Wallet and Diamond Drop earrings in her Holiday Style Guide; Rolala Loves featured our Nail Bliss Trio in her Beauty Enthusiasts holiday round-up; Chic n Cheap Living featured our Laguna Winter Surf Nail Trio in her Holiday Gift Guide and The Dainty Dolly House featured our Diamond Drop earrings and Laguna Winter Surf Trio in her Holiday Wish List. Last but not least, Georgette Magazine surprised us by including our Scandalous Lover Mini-Crossbody in their Christmas Gift Guide!

I also wanted to give a special thank you to Lucky Magazine, Georgette Magazine and Shomara Roosblat from Vogue Italia for the lovely features this month!

Merry Christmas! Hope Santa is good to you this year!

I live in black in white all the time, its so classic and thats a greta purse. So sad about PSH, amazing that you got the chance to meet him. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by 🙂

I love you B&W pieces and am really embracing this classic combination. We are going to Bali in about a week and to keep things simple I was planning on packing black and white (with a touch of grey) and looking for ways to incorporate color once we get there…

B&W is one of my favourite combinations and I would love to wear that first dress this spring. Plus, I adore your accessories. Kisses, lovely.

Black and white is always a good choice. Right now I’m feeling black. RIP PSH. He was an amazing actor.

Not sure what happened to my comment before— so if you are getting this twice, forgive me!

Anyways, I really love B&W combo both for how sophisticated it is and also the simplicity. We are heading to Bali next week and I am planning on packing in all B&W (with a touch of grey). I figure things will be interchangeable this way and I can find ways to add color if I want once I am there…

So upset to hear about Hoffman’s death – I have loved that man since ‘Almost Famous’. 🙁

I love the whole second look and the Alexander Wang shirt.

To be honest, I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. I just think it’s so very unfair whenever somebody so talented goes so early… 🙁
On a positive thought – I adore your idea of playing with white tulips as props – gorgeous result! x

I still can’t believe that Philip Seymour Hoffman is gone. He was one of the best and only a few days ago I was reading bout his new film, A Most Wanted Man, which premiered at Sundance – every new movie of his was a promise for great acting and another memorable role.

On to the classic black and white, there is that Bill Blass quote, “Whenever in doubt, wear red”, well, for me it goes “whenever in doubt, wear black and white.” I absolutely love how you styled your beautiful designs, that’s just the perfect setting. It feels wonderful to know that spring is so close. 🙂

Black and white never really seems to date and it’s always so fresh looking. Sad news indeed.

Lovely quote and pieces.
And thanks for the tribute to PSH. He was truly amazing.

B&W is really gorgeous, I always enjoy wearing it when I need a break from things. It always helps clear my head. Very sad news about Phillip Hoffman…drugs are just so bad and I think more needs to be done for people who can’t stop or suffer from other things that causes them to use bad stuff like that as an escape. Really so sad. I hope you have a gorgeous new week 🙂 xx

Love this photo of PSH, Until I went to wiki had no idea how many incredible movies he made. That photo arrangement with the tulips is just lovely

I have just bought a pair of black ankle length trousers and a crisp white shirt. Can’t wait to wear them. It is such a simple and effective combination.
