My morning workout has been lagging, okay nonexistent recently. When Kohl’s invited me to go shopping for wellness essentials, my Bridget Jones mentality immediately rose to the challenge. Shopping?! That counts as exercise, right? As it turns out, I had a field day in Kohl’s picking out some new workout gear. I got all of this for $100!

Cropped yoga pants
Food Containers

If you’re wondering about the Food Network 7 piece container set on the bottom left, it’s my attempt to turn over a new leaf. I’m pretty crap when it comes to packing a lunch (sorry I got that expression from Bridget Jones and I couldn’t help myself). I’ve never brown bagged it even two days running. Ok, let’s be honest, never. During my time in Santa Fe, my friend Christi brought her lunch to class every day in something similar and it made me realize that I needed to get a little more organized in the food department.

What about you?

How are your summer workouts going?

Do you find that buying work out clothes motivates you to actually work out?

p.s. Many thanks to Kohls for sponsoring my wellness essential picks!

p.p.s. Make sure to stop by tomorrow for the first art inspired post of August!

Not much happening over here, exercise wise… I do go to work on my bike and I try doing after work walks. And I shop 😉 I like your colourful shoes!

Those sneakers are fab!

P.S. Regarding your question yesterday…The seashells are no more difficult to remove than standard glitter. Just use acetone remover. 🙂

Haha shopping=exercise on boy! You did good! Yes I hear bringing your own lunch is not only cheaper but generally less calories.

Great workout gear. When I worked at a TV station I tried to lack a healthy lunch daily & not go to fast food drive thrus. It’s easy to get sucked into doing that but I’d rather eat healthy.
I do my best to eat in moderation & keep it healthy BUT you have to have some fun too….
Hope you had a awesome July 4th!!!!

I’ve recently taken up exercising again after my period of recuperation, aerobics and running in the park, and I’m starting to feel infinitely better. And wearing nice workout clothes does motivate me more. 🙂

So far my Summer workouts have been great. I’ve been doing my morning walks and the seven minutes workout. It’s hard but it takes discipline and dedication. Your choices here are very stylish. You can do it!

My summer workouts have been varying quite a bit but they don’t consist of many days off – sadly :/
